Jeffrey brings over fourteen years of experience in both criminal prosecution and defense, corporate litigation and personal mediation and arbitration. Jeffrey has personally litigated over 30 felony jury trials, adjudicated two death penalty cases, and defended clients in over 200 bench trials. Additionally, Jeffrey has extensive experience defending teachers and other certified educational professionals in district discipline hearings. By utilizing skills he has learned through extensive courtroom experience, we can provide you with a clear answer on your issues and decide what next course of action should be in order to achieve the most favorable outcome for your needs.

Jeffrey is a native Arizonan who graduated from Arizona State University in 2005 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. He earned his J.D from Vermont Law in 2010. In order to better understand Education Law, he completed his Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Arizona State University in 2023 and taught in the Phoenix Union High School District for three years. He holds a valid AZ Bar License (028605) and a valid AZ Department of Education teaching license. He was admitted to the US District Court of Arizona in 2011.
Jeffrey has been trained in the Colorado Method of Voir Dire, providing him with unique insight into defending death penalty cases. In 2014, he was honored with the "Rising Star Award" by the Arizona Public Defender's Association for "his promise and potential in delivering high-quality legal guidance to indigent individuals."
Jeffrey worked as a prosecutor at the Maricopa County Attorney's Office and as a defense attorney for the Pinal County Public Defender's Office. He served as a Capital Defense attorney at the Office Of The Legal Advocate, and worked as a corporate trial attorney for the Johnson & Johnson Corporation.
Jeffrey currently teaches Criminal and Constitutional Law at Grand Canyon University.
